The real kick in the ass is
that--with the real voters who seriously believe in Bush and aren't just loads
on the system--I can't at all see their persuasion and they can't at all see
mine and none of us can figure out how we're so polar or what we can do to
reconcile and thus I can't figure out how I can keep living with these people
and vise-versa for them and that in and of itself plunges the whole Grand
Republic into an agonizing state of treacherous tension. Very much worse: how can two groups of people hold two values to be
the "right" value when the two values in question are antitheses of each other and each side
has proven to itself that its value is indisputably "right?"
Action Z cannot at the same time cause both Action A and Action B if Action A
and Action B are mutually exclusive. It's one thing to question your
purpose in life or to question higher power or to question the rationale of the
universe, but each of these egregious human quandaries and all other facets of
everything are completely annihilated by such a grotesque perturbation of the fundamental persona
of all of existence, the simple truth now in jeopardy: there can be only one "The One." What Hell has
been wrought upon us?
